Job Description


Our client is is one of the largest and most comprehensive tertiary private hospitals in South Malaysia. This role will be based permanently in Melaka.Responsibilities:

  • To utilize evidence-based practice and professional judgment to assess health needs, provide care, educate client and support individuals to manage their hearing specially and health holistically.
  • To be responsible for the overall operation and administration of the audiology unit, for ensuring quality and efficient services are delivered to customers.
  • To introduce and implement the up-to-date audiology equipment and testing protocol, with the involvement of ear, nose and throat consultant.
  • To work with health screening team to provide health screening packages, screening knowledge and professional judgment to assess clients\' needs, provide package explanation, educate client and registered client for the relevant screening package.
  • To follow tasks assigned to clients from station to station, maintain good communication skill amongst clients, colleagues, clinicians, handle clients\' demand and expectation. Trace report clients from time to time, release report and refer clients to specialist for further investigation and treatments.
  • To follow the department / unit meets or exceeds its objectives; and the mission, policies, and core values of the Company are embraced and promoted in the workplace.
  • To follow instruction/ assignment in ensuring smooth administration / running health screening centre in provision of high quality, cost effective and safe services.
  • To identify any auditory system dysfunction of the patients, and prepare a report that include interpretation of interpreting data, summarized findings, proposed recommendations and developing an audiological treatment / management plan for the patients
  • To provide training to staff on relevant hearing test.
  • To comply with the departmental quality assurance, and safety environment of the department.
  • To perform other job-related duties as assigned from time to time
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor of Audiology with Honors.
  • Preferably with certificates or experience related to Audiology Services.
  • Minimum1 year of working experience in healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook and access program.
