They review the numbers in databases and documents, evaluate, and consult and assist the source of the transaction if necessary, which includes accountants, managers or other clerks.

Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. 7. Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
