to join our growing audit team. You will be responsible for assisting in audit planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards while delivering quality service to our clients.
Main Responsibilities
1. Audit Preparation
Gather, organize, and review clients' financial records and supporting documents.
Prepare and maintain audit working papers in accordance with firm standards.
Review draft financial statements for completeness and accuracy prior to finalization.
2. Audit Execution
Perform audit fieldwork and procedures as directed by the Audit Senior or Manager.
Verify audit evidence such as invoices, receipts, bank statements, and ledgers.
Identify accounting discrepancies, control weaknesses, and potential areas for improvement.
Prepare clear and concise audit findings for supervisory review.
3. Reporting
Assist in the preparation and finalization of audit reports.
Ensure all audit documentation is properly completed, organized, and filed for future reference.
4. Client Communication
Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information, explanations, and supporting documents.
Maintain effective and professional communication with clients throughout the audit process.
5. Additional Responsibilities
Support in related accounting and tax assignments when required.
Participate in internal training, team discussions, and continuous professional development activities.
Requirements
Qualification:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Skills:
Sound understanding of MFRS, MPERS, and auditing standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and audit software (e.g., CaseWare or Excel-based templates).
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience:
Audit Associate:
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Senior Audit Associate:
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in external audit.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Eagerness to learn, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
Resilient and capable of working under pressure, especially during peak audit periods.
Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and strong ethical standards.
