Our client, an established global audit and accounting firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Associate / Senior
to join their Assurance team. The ideal candidate will actively establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships while executing assurance procedures. This role involves working under the supervision of an Assurance Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager, assisting in the execution of audit work and presenting findings to clients. The candidate will also contribute technical insights to audit client engagements and internal projects.
Responsibilities:
1) Participate in
audit assignments
from beginning to end including:
Performing audit field works
Document and compiling audit working papers
Identify issues and present audit findings and recommendations as well as conduct follow up actions and meeting tight deadlines
Review audit reports
2) Execute solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles (e.g. MFRS / IFRS / MPERS / CA 2016 and ISA)
3) Develop and maintain an excellent communication with peers, superiors and external parties
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or those with a full or partial professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICA, ICAA, CPA(A) or CIMA)
Minimum 1 year of audit experience in audit firms
Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications
Knowledge in ProSystem fx Engagement will be an added advantage
Strong technical ability, excellent interpersonal skills and leadership qualities
Flexible and willing to travel outstation for audit-related tasks as required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
