Lead the planning and execution of audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients in different sectors.
Create audit strategies and procedures customized to address the unique risks and needs of individual clients.
Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback.
Analyze internal control systems to pinpoint risks and recommend necessary improvements.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and all supporting audit documentation.
Responsible for serving as the primary liaison during client engagements and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Check for adherence to all relevant auditing and accounting standards, including IFRS.
Support the preparation of proposals and assist in identifying new business opportunities.
Stay current with changes in auditing regulations and accounting standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of external audit experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.
In-depth knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
