Description


Primary Objective:
To carry out the audit assignments / work as assigned by the superior (Team Lead, FA Head, FG Head and GCIA).
Key Responsibilities:

• To complete audit tasks within the targeted timeline.
• Assess, evaluate and review the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls and risk management practices implemented by the auditees.
• Raise audit issues and make appropriate recommendations for improvement in each audit assignments and /or process reviews and/or new product reviews.
• Clear all queries/ review issues raised by Team Lead/ /Audit Lead/ FA Head.
• Ensure proper filing of working papers and other documentation.
• To provide comments to proposal paper for new/variation of product to be introduced and/or Operations Manual/Circular from the risk and control perspectives.
• Participate in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) exercise to ensure appropriate internal controls are incorporated.
• To carry out administrative tasks as assigned by Team Leader/ Audit Lead/ Functional Area Head.
• Attend to completion of electronic Working Paper (EWP) in the Audit Management System (AMS) and filing of hardcopy of supporting documents within the specified time.

Requirements
Requirements: Formal Education Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Management or Economics

Professional Accreditation:

ACCA, CPA, ICSA, CIMA & CBA

At least 1 year experience in audit/risk/compliance functions and preferably in banking.

• Strong analytical skills, meticulous, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of internal control principles / practices, banking activities, risk management, corporate governance and statutory regulations.
