Position: Draughter

Working location: PLO 762, Jalan Keluli 6, 81700 Pasir Gudang, Johor Darul Takzim

Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY

Working Hours & Days: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm

Basic salary: Range between RM 3,000 to RM4,500 with statutory contribution + leave entitlement

Job Purpose:

To provide SLD, P&ID, layouts, general arrangements, and detailed technical drawings on AutoCAD in accordance with company quality assurance standards and clients project specifications. To work with Design Team in producing CAD drawings.

Principal Tasks:

• Preparing drawings in accordance with the specified requirements.
• Updating the copyholders whenever there are changes and identifying obsolete copies.
• Performing backup, the drawings on a regular basis.
• Filing the drawing in such a way that it can be accessed easily.
• Liaise with design team to obtain clear specifications.
• Support the design team with necessary drawings from concept to handover.
• Create detailed CAD drawings for production and for on-site work.
• Continuously look for and suggest ways to improve the process.
• Other duties requested by management in support of the Design Team.
• Prepared first draft SLD, P&ID, layouts, general arrangements to follow the customer requirement before presented in the beginning of the plan design drawing.
• Collaborated with design team to determine the basic requirements of a project design.
• Site visits were required for the preparation of As-builts.
• Preparation of drawings shall principally be for the projects department.
• Continuously update knowledge of company products and activities for effective application in the execution of job duties. production knowledge.
• Maintain systematic filing of all documents arising from the execution of job duties, to ensure a neat working environment and effective stand-in by colleagues during period when incumbent is indisposed.

Job Requirements:

• 3 - 4 years CAD experience in 2D and 3D related to oil & gas industries.
• Capability To Use Certain System OR Software
• Engineering drafting (AutoCAD, Cadworx software, Inventor, and 3D Model from Cad software)
• Good accurate CAD skills and thorough experience of working with AutoCAD essential.
• Knowledge of latest Autodesk 3D Inventor Design Software
• Knowledge of latest Autodesk Navisworks.
• Knowledge of word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel or Lotus) will have an added advantage to job performance.
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken. Good command of English and possess effective writing skills and presentation capabilities.
• Conversant with Engineering standards, codes and practices for the industry would be an added advantage though not necessary.
• Able to work as a team.
• Comfortable complying with procedures.
• Methodical and organized.
• Pay attention to the details.

Qualification

• Professional Certificate.
• Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma.
