About the Job
The Automation Maintenance Engineer will collaborate closely with internal teams, including solution planning, property management, and IT, to optimize automation performance and ensure integration of state-of-the-art technology. Externally, the role involves coordination with key stakeholders such as equipment suppliers, and tenants. This position offers the opportunity for potential career development as ALPM's presence grows in Malaysia and a rare opportunity to manage a Multitenant Automated Smart Warehouse.
Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage subcontracted maintenance operation teams

• Implement the automatic equipment and drive extensive tests

• Regular automatic equipment troubleshooting and recovery

• Regular automatic equipment maintenance

• Efficiency improvement of automatic equipment

• Source spare parts and manage external vendors

• Maintenance contract management

• PoC validation support

• User autonomous maintenance training

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Control, Automation, or engineering-related dept.

• Knowledge of engineering drawings, sensing and pneumatic/hydraulic parts, and motor control.

• Experience in PLC & HMI design and implementation.

• Familiar with AutoCad / Solidworks is a plus.

• SCADA and backend IT system integration is a plus.

• Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Strong Mandarin oral & written communication skills will be an advantage.
