Job Description
We are seeking an Automation QA Engineer to join our client\'s dynamic team. This is a hybrid position based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Authorization to work in Malaysia is required as you need to work in the office 2-3 days a week.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and maintain automated testing suites.
- Write automated test with Cucumber BDD in Gherkin syntax that can be integrated with the CI/CD pipeline.
- Work with the team to come up with test plans that fulfil product requirements.
- Ensure overall quality of products.
- Maintain documentation for automation processes and test cases.
- Min. 3 years of experience in software engineering quality assurance.
- Strong proficiency in automated test concepts and strategies.
- Demonstrate track records of planning and developing automated tests.
- Proficient in using automated testing tools such as Cucumber, Karate, Postman with Newman, Selenium or any equivalents.
- Solid working knowledge with agile methodology and distributed cloud architecture.
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and solid problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience working in a globally distributed start-up or high-growth environment is a plus.
