DESIGNATION : Automation Test Engineer - AA
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzing business requirement specifications; engage with vendors, tech leads, stakeholders
- Design test cases, test data and test scenarios
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts and regression test cases to be \xe2\x80\x9cfit for purpose\xe2\x80\x9d in relation to future system delivery activity
- Perform end-to-end test execution (System, SIT, Regression, E2E, Automation)
- Monitoring the test coverage and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing the system
- Defect Management; Report and track software defects into defect management tools
- Setup defect triage sessions to review each defect severity/priority
- Quality reporting & governance to provide test status update to relevant teams
- Estimating test effort for each requirement and ensuring that the estimates provided are appropriate for the type and complexity of the changes being developed
- Improve all aspects of testing approach and execution in line with the increasing business and technology demands.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science or any IT related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years in automation testing on web based, server applications and mainframe applications
- Strong in designing test cases, test data and test scenarios
- Able to develop and maintain automation test scripts
- Experience in Selenium/Appium, Cucumber, RestAssured or Java
- Experience in Jenkins and GitHub
- Experience in API and performance testing
- Strong knowledge in database (DB2/Oracle or equivalent)
- Web services testing with Soap UI, Postman
- Advanced experience building and executing SQL queries
