Our client: IT solutions Provider, MNC with presence in over 116 countries

The Automation Tester will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium to ensure high-quality software applications. The role involves close collaboration with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to identify test scenarios, create test plans, and drive efficient testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements, define test strategies, and develop automated test cases. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand business logic and identify testing needs. Write test scripts using Selenium WebDriver in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#. Develop and maintain automation frameworks, ensuring reusability, modularity, and scalability. Create, debug, and maintain automation test scripts for new and existing features. Integrate automated testing into continuous integration (CI) pipelines. Run automated test suites and log results. Identify, report, and track software defects and issues. Collaborate on root cause analysis for failed tests, working closely with developers to resolve them. Regularly update and optimize test scripts to ensure compatibility with new software versions. Perform code reviews and refactor code as needed to improve test efficiency. Maintain version control for automated test scripts. Document test cases, automation scripts, and test results. Provide regular reports and updates on test status, coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as an Automation Tester with Selenium.
Technical Skills:

Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit). Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker. Knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web automation.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Additional Preferred Skills:

Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and database testing.

Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber.

Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,331.59 per month
