Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Setup and Operation:



Arrange, inspect, and maintain audio-visual equipment for meetings, events, and presentations. Install and operate sound systems, projectors, screens, microphones, and lighting. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and meets the specific needs of each event.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:



Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with AV equipment during events. Perform routine upkeep, updates, and repairs on AV equipment as required.

Event Support:



Provide on-site support during events to manage AV equipment and address any issues that arise. Collaborate with event organizers and clients to understand their AV requirements and provide solutions. Ensure high-quality audio and visual experiences for attendees.

Inventory Management:



Maintain an inventory of AV equipment, including tracking usage and scheduling maintenance. Order new equipment or replacement parts as needed to ensure operational efficiency.

Training and Documentation:



Train other staff members or clients on the proper use of AV equipment. Create and maintain documentation on AV setup procedures, equipment operation, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications:

Education:



SPM, diploma or equivalent; additional certification in audio-visual technology or a related field is preferred.

Experience:



Proven experience as an AV Technician or in a similar role. Experience with various types of AV equipment, including sound systems, video projectors, and lighting systems. Fresh grad is welcome to apply.

Technical Skills:



Strong knowledge of audio and video equipment, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with software and hardware related to AV systems, such as video conferencing platforms, control systems, and digital mixers.

Soft Skills:



Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, event organizers, and team members. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality AV services.

Physical Requirements:



Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

Work Environment:



Primarily works in event spaces, meeting rooms, conference centers, and similar environments. May involve travel to various locations to support events. Training will be provided.
