About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support to Treasury and Trade services, Securities, Cash, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange, etc
• Open and amend Letters of Credits (L/Cs), process payment and solve customer issues to ensure efficient daily operations
• Manage daily operations for larger Transaction Services unit consisting of multiple teams and supervisors performing related task
• Resolve occasionally complex and varied issues with significant department impact
• Apply in-depth understanding of how areas coordinate within Transaction Service, as well as contribute to the objective of the entire function
• Evaluate employee performance and make recommendations for training/development, pay increases, hiring, terminations, etc.
• Oversee delivery of end results and budget management and conduct resource planning
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Job Requirements

• 6 - 10 years of experience
• Senior Level experience in all aspects of Transaction Services including - Treasury and Trade Services, Trade, Lockbox, Derivatives, Fund Services, Foreign Exchange preferred
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
• Ability to work in a fact-paced environment
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills
• Minimum bachelor\'s degree, Master\'s degree preferred
