POSITION GENERAL SUMMARYTo safeguard civil aviation against acts of unlawful interference.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Ensuring that only ticketed passengers enter the screening area.
• Ensure all departing passengers and staff shall be screened using metal detection and x-ray equipment before entering the restricted area.
• Ensure the baggage is properly placed on the X-Ray equipment conveyor belt so that effective images can be produced.
• Instruct passengers to place electrical equipment such as laptop and cellular telephones in the trays provided so that they pass through the X-Ray equipment without extraneous clutter.
• Control flow through the passenger screening point.
• Carries out risk assessment to identify those passengers who should undergo enhanced security screening.
• Required to perform the additional processing of passengers after they pass through WTMDs, conducts searches manually or with the aid of an HHMDs.
• Ensure employees and visitors entering company premise must have security pass.
• Ensure unauthorized vehicles are parked at the curbsides an along the inner road of the terminal.
• Conduct regular inspection and patrolling to ensure no breach of security.
• Carry out other duties or functions as and when directed by management.

General Qualification

• Open to Malaysian citizens only.
• Aged between 18 to 28 years (born in 1996 - 2006).
• Have no misdemeanor and criminal record.
• Pass the vision test for the left and right eyes which are tested separately with a resolution of V/6/9.
• Color recognition and unimpaired hearing.
• Have no health problems (physical and mental) and have the following physical measurements:

• MALE

• Minimum Height : 1.63m (without shoes)
• Minimum Body Weight : 50 kg
• Body Mass Index (BMI) : 18-30
• Chest Size: 79 cm (normal) & 84 cm (breathe in)
• FEMALE

• Minimum Height : 1.57m (without shoes)
• Minimum Body Weight : 48 kg
• Body Mass Index (BMI) : 18-30

Academic Qualification

• Eligibility is for SPM/SVM HOLDER ONLY; with at least:

• SPM

• Credit (Kepujian) in Bahasa Melayu; AND
• Passed in English, Mathematics and History; AND passed One (1) other subject
• SVM

• Credit (Kepujian) in Malay (Code 1104)
