POSITION GENERAL SUMMARYTo ensure the Aviation Security operations at the airport is managed effectively and efficiently.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Perform all required task in ensure high level of security in airport operation
• Ensure that the manpower, equipment and the facilities are adequate and fulfil the operational requirements
• Ensure all aviation security personnel perform their duties in accordance to standard operating procedures
• Conduct regular inspection / spot check and training to ensure high level of performance and discipline amongst all security personnel under his/her supervision
• Maintain relationship and networking with other department or agency to facilitate security operations;
• Conduct internal investigation on any criminal cases or complaint involve aviation security personnel;
• Assist in collate, analyse and disseminate intelligence information to relevant parties and make necessary counter measures against probable threat
• Conduct survey, audit and inspection in accordance with established standards and procedures
• Provide input to the management in enhancing the airport security
• Involve in budget preparation, staff development and man power planning
• Carry out other duties or functions as and when directed by management

General Qualifications

• Open to Malaysian citizens only.
• Aged between 18 to 28 years (born in 1996 - 2006).
• Have no misdemeanor and criminal record.
• Pass the vision test for the left and right eyes which are tested separately with a resolution of V/6/9.
• Color recognition and unimpaired hearing.
• Have no health problems (physical and mental) and have the following physical measurements:

• MALE

• Minimum Height : 1.63m (without shoes)
• Minimum Body Weight : 50 kg
• Body Mass Index (BMI) : 18-30
• Chest Size: 79 cm (normal) & 84 cm (breathe in)
• FEMALE

• Minimum Height : 1.57m (without shoes)
• Minimum Body Weight : 48 kg
• Body Mass Index (BMI) : 18-30

Academic QualificationExternal

• Minimum qualification at least Diploma in any discipline recognised by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
