Job Description
We are seeking an
AWS Data Platform Services Engineer
to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud-based data solutions. The role will play a key part in building a robust and future-ready data environment to support the increasing volume, variety, and velocity of enterprise data.Key Responsibilities
Lead solution design and guide project team members in AWS Data Platform setup. Develop project plans and oversee implementation to ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with the Data Team and stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and deliverables. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. Report project status, monitor risks, and track progress. Maintain comprehensive documentation for projects and solutions.
Job Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline. Minimum 3 years' experience in
AWS Data Platform services
(e.g., AWS Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift, Data Zone, Data Catalog). Hands-on experience withdata lake and data warehouse implementations
. Strong knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle). Experience in the securities and derivatives broking industry is an advantage. Project management skills (especially for team lead roles). Familiarity withPower BI
and other BI tools is a plus. Proven expertise in data warehousing disciplines includingdata access, ETL, RDBMS, and data management

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM4,141.54 - RM15,322.96 per month
Work Location: In person
