About Our Client

Our client is a leading AdTech consultancy founded in 2009, helping marketers across Asia adopt advanced advertising and creative solutions through the Google Marketing Platform (GMP). As a certified GMP Sales Partner, they specialize in ad technology, programmatic media, analytics, and creative solutions, driving digital maturity and campaign success for global brands.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to build scalable backend systems, integrate with Google Marketing Platform APIs, and support internal automation tools. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AdTech and cloud solutions in a dynamic, cross-border team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop NestJS applications in TypeScript, ensuring scalability and maintainability. Design and implement API integrations with GMP platforms (DV360, SA360) and third-party systems. Build internal automation tools, dashboards, and data management utilities. Deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform (App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL). Query and analyze data using BigQuery and SQL to extract insights from large datasets. Maintain and troubleshoot legacy PHP systems when needed. Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver seamless system integration.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Engineering or equivalent. 3-5 years' experience in backend development, preferably with TypeScript / NestJS. Proficient in TypeScript, SQL, and PHP. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GCP, and BigQuery. Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven. Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex technical topics clearly. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
