• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Proficient in database technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably IT.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in implementing and adhering to coding best practices.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Affinity for technology and quick to pick up new software and tools.
• High standards for personal quality of work.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and debugging.
• Optimize and improve existing systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality.
• Debug and resolve issues reported by other team members and users.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate best practices into our development processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development workflows and tools.
