About the Role
We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our team working on IoT monitoring systems. You will build APIs, process sensor data, and develop backend services that support our monitoring platform.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
Process and transform sensor data
Build data pipelines and integrations
Work with databases and optimise performance
Implement business logic and workflows
Integrate with third-party services
Write clean, maintainable code
Requirements
2+ years backend development experience
Strong programming skills (Python preferred)
API development experience
SQL and database knowledge
Git version control
Problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Nice to Have
AWS cloud services experience
Django or similar Python web frameworks
Data processing or ETL experience
PHP/Laravel knowledge
IoT or time-series data experience
Experience with large datasets
Database stored procedures or migration experience
