Backend Developer - Tech Lead
Location: Malaysia (Open to Malaysian citizens and PR holders)
Experience: 8+ years in backend development, 3+ years as a Tech LeadRole Overview:We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to oversee the end-to-end backend development for online trading platform. You will work closely with the team to design and implement solutions using Golang, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Your role will also involve leading architectural decisions and driving technical strategies for the platform.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
- Utilize AWS services for cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure high performance and reliability for the trading platform.
- Proficient knowledge of a backend programming language- GoLang and an in-depth understanding of web development.
- Responsible for solution architecture definition and supporting technical decisions.
- Ability to setup, administer of backups, data migration, transformation, and scripting.
- Understands "session management" in a server environment.
- 8+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years as a Tech Lead.
- Proficient in Golang, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Experience working on trading platforms or in fintech is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex backend solutions.
