\xc2\xb7 Plan, conduct, and execute research and development activities in an integrated, timely, cost effective, and high quality manner in accordance with division\xe2\x80\x99s strategic and operating objectives. \xc2\xb7 Work independently and provide adequate system design support to project team. \xc2\xb7 Work with other researchers to gain an understanding of the problems they face, and then develops, maintains and extends software to provide the solution. \xc2\xb7 Carry out feasibility studies and conduct literature reviews before starting new research project. \xc2\xb7 Take research projects from initial concept to development and production ready solutions. \xc2\xb7 Perform data analytic to measure efficacy and continuously thrive to improve developed solutions. \xc2\xb7 Be a strong contributor in the research projects, an active team member and assist each other to ensure successful execution of projects. \xc2\xb7 Be a team player that actively contributes ideas and initiatives to team, and independently complete assignments. \xc2\xb7 Deliver reports and documentations as needed by project leader professionally. \xc2\xb7 Participate in technical papers / copyright / patent publication locally as well as internationally upon approval. \xc2\xb7 Support product management in creating innovative data products and solutions. \xc2\xb7 Continuously seek out latest technologies within the domain and strengthen the unit\xe2\x80\x99s R&D capabilities. \xc2\xb7 Support IPR initiatives such as scientific paper publication, patent and copyright where applicable. Job Requirements \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or similar qualification of relevant working experience (minimum 5 years for senior) \xc2\xb7 Solid skills in programming skills and framework, Senior developers should have 3 or more of the listed skills: Java, Python, JavaScript (Node.js) and TypeScript (NestJS) \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge in web services using SOAP and REST API \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge in database development such as data mining, data security, database design, database programming with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle \xc2\xb7 Strong scripting skills such as Bash, Python, and SQL. \xc2\xb7 Experienced in scaling software services, microservices design, performance and security optimization. \xc2\xb7 Experienced in Big Data platform such as Cloudera/HortonWorks, Hadoop is a plus \xc2\xb7 Good knowledge in cloud and virtualization technologies in Linux environment, such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Virtual Box, Docker, Kubernetes. \xc2\xb7 Good knowledge in professional software development processes such as continuous integration, DevOps, unit testing, debug techniques, and Agile/Scrum methodologies \xc2\xb7 Strong background in research with list of publications, research projects, IPR activities or scientific award/honour \xc2\xb7 Strong verbal, presentation and writing skills and a self-starter \xc2\xb7 Flexible and adaptable to any changes within a short notice \xc2\xb7 Deep working knowledge and experiences in design thinking and agile methodology \xc2\xb7 Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis skills and has a strong interest in research and software development \xc2\xb7 Able to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals \xc2\xb7 Able to perform under minimum supervision, work independently and deliver quality work under tight deadlines \xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of new and upcoming software technologies such as NodeJS, ReactJS, responsive web and microservices \xc2\xb7 Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects at the same time \xc2\xb7 Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders \xc2\xb7 Passionate about learning and staying updated in emerging trends and technologies.
