Backend Engineer - Java

We are expanding our engineering team to support a long-term project for a global leader in consumer technology. The work focuses on developing digital and connected-device solutions used across smart home and appliance ecosystems. You will collaborate in an international environment and contribute to platforms that integrate mobile, IoT and cloud technologies. This project involves modern, scalable systems shaping the next generation of smart consumer products.

:

Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and microservice architecture. Ability to design scalable backend solutions, implement complex APIs and optimize performance across distributed systems. Experience deploying systems on AWS using services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS or S3 and configuring infrastructure for high availability. Proficiency working with CI/CD pipelines, observability ecosystems and container orchestration using Docker or Kubernetes. Experience with Kafka, Terraform or advanced system tuning is beneficial.

Responsibilities include:

Leading the development of complex backend modules, establishing engineering standards and mentoring Regular engineers. Working closely with architects and cross-functional teams to influence technical direction and improve the resilience, scalability and performance of backend systems.
