• Working for a Malaysian Software Integration company (similar to Accenture) who specialises in MicroSoft projects for O&G clients in Malaysia. Open to 1 year contract or permanent, full time role.

Project:

• Senior Engineer for an O&G client (non GLC)
• Working on site at the client office near One Utama,
• Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the IT BA.
• 80% Backend engineering / 20% Front end
• 80% Hands on engineering / 20% mentoring a team of juniors (<5 years experience)

Role

• Lead the functional and technical design, coding, and testing of software applications.
• Configuring codes and objects, implementing configuration changes & maintaining software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing solution components using .NET Framework,.NET Core, and cloud-based architectures.
• Adhering to agile and software development best practices.
• Understanding modern web application design and architecture.
• Constructing, testing, implementing, and optimizing basic systems that support business functions.
• Researching technical environments and system requirements.
• Collaborating with others to analyze and translate requirements into programming solutions.
• Designing, constructing, and implementing integrated and distributed computing solutions.
• Performing and supporting various testing phases.
• Investigating and resolving technical issues.
• Participating in solution implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Delivering technical design documents.

Must Have

• 5-8 years experience in .NET, with strong experience in .NET Fundamentals
• Developing RESTful/SOAP-based web services.
• Entity Framework / LINQ / Docker / ORM/ C# Multi threading
• QL / PostgreSQL
• Full SDLC cycle experience in sizable software systems development

Nice to Have

• AWS Cloud or DevOps knowledge
• JavaScript > Angular, Nest.JS or Next.JS, Vue, React etc
• HTML, CSS,jQuery, Bootstrap,
• ERP or CRM domain knowledge.
• Microsoft 365 or SharePoint / Power Platform
• Unit testing

Work Arrangement

• 5 days a week at client office in One Utama
