Backend Process Engineer (Final Test/Post Test)

Job description

This global semiconductor company in Klang Valley is seeking a Backend Process Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluating, selecting, and establishing design rules for back-end equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
• Establishing programs and solutions for increasing machine uptime/ OEU and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Monitor and deliver project execution to plan.
• Become a project team member and lead own projects to provide technical solutions with multiple types of back-end machines.
• Act as a process and technical leader around innovation & implementation from Singulation to Final Test to Post Test
• Establish the best in industry Post Test packing process and material cost.
• Closely cross-functionally collaborate via matrix fashion with groups across the globe.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Back-end semiconductor process and equipment are a MUST.
• Minimum 5 years of Final Test and Post Test experiences or relevant experiences working in a semiconductor manufacturing environment as an Equipment/ Process Engineer
• Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or any relevant engineering background
• Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results.
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
• Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to operate independently within program guidelines.
• Proficiency in risk planning and reaction to project problems to stay on schedule.
• Team player with strong listening skills that can take inputs and make informed decisions.
• Concise and clear written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage cross functional, cross disciplined team members.
• Effective influence management without direct authority
• Demonstrated ability to communicate throughout the organization, including the executive staff.
