Key Responsibilities:

Develop backend systems using PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter) Customise and maintain WordPress and/or Drupal CMS beyond basic themes Design and optimise MySQL databases and backend architecture Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services Identify and resolve backend issues, including performance and security Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on project requirements Stay current with backend development best practices and emerging tools

Job Requirements & Technical Skills:

Nationality: Malaysians only

Position Level: Mid to Senior Education: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related field Language: Strong English communication skills Minimum 3 years of backend development experience in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter) Hands-on experience with WordPress and/or Drupal--beyond templating Solid understanding of MySQL (schema design, query optimisation) Proven experience building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services Familiarity with Git, secure coding practices, and deployment processes Bonus: Knowledge in cloud hosting or server management (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean)
