The

Badminton Coach

is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality badminton training programmes for students across different age groups and skill levels. The ideal candidate is passionate about badminton, committed to student growth, and able to create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive training environment that reflects the values of our schools.

Key Responsibilities

Design and conduct engaging, age-appropriate badminton training sessions. Teach and refine technical skills, footwork, strategies, and match-play readiness. Identify and develop student athletes' potential through continuous assessment and feedback. Foster a supportive, team-oriented, and respectful sporting culture. Prepare students for inter-school competitions, tournaments, and friendly matches. Ensure student safety and well-being during all training sessions and events. Manage and maintain badminton equipment, courts, and related facilities. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the wider school community to promote the badminton programme. Uphold school values and demonstrate professionalism in all coaching activities. Stay updated with current badminton coaching techniques, sports science, and safety practices.

Requirements

Minimum of SPM or equivalent education qualification. Being able to teach physical education as well will be an added advantage. Professional badminton coaching certification from a recognised sports body is an advantage. Proven experience coaching badminton at the school, youth, or club level. Strong understanding of badminton techniques, drills, strategies, and competition rules. Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills. Ability to inspire students and nurture their confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
