Job Description

Job Purpose



To assist in the preparation, baking, and presentation of bread, pastries, and other baked goods in accordance with company standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and hygiene at all times.

Responsibilities



Assist in daily production of bread, rolls, cakes, pastries, and desserts. Follow recipes, portion sizes, and baking techniques as instructed by senior bakers. Prepare ingredients (measuring, mixing, shaping, proofing) under supervision. Operate bakery equipment safely (oven, mixer, proofer, dough divider). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards. Support inventory control by properly storing ingredients and reporting shortages. Assist in decorating and finishing baked products. Perform other duties as assigned by Head Baker or Pastry Chef.

Requirements



Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients. Passion for bakery and willingness to learn. Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately. Good teamwork and communication skills. Physically fit to handle bakery tasks (lifting flour bags, standing long hours). Prior experience in bakery or culinary training is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
