Bakery Operations & Sales Growth Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities



1. Operational Management



Plan, organize, and oversee bakery production schedules to ensure timely output and consistent product quality. Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply chain to minimize waste and downtime. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations (HACCP, FDA, or local equivalents). Supervise bakery staff -- hiring, training, performance monitoring, and scheduling.

2. Quality Assurance



Maintain and enforce quality control standards for all products. Implement feedback systems for continuous product improvement. Conduct regular inspections to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and freshness.

3. Sales Growth & Business Development



Develop and implement strategies to increase bakery sales (retail, wholesale, catering, and online). Identify and pursue new business opportunities -- cafes, hotels, restaurants, and corporate clients. Work with marketing to launch new products, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Analyze sales data, customer trends, and competitor activity to guide pricing and product decisions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners. Monitor sales targets and KPIs to ensure continuous revenue growth.

4. Financial Management



Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability. Track operational and sales performance metrics; generate periodic financial and performance reports. Recommend cost-saving and revenue-enhancing strategies.

5. Customer Experience & Brand Reputation



Oversee customer feedback systems to maintain high satisfaction and repeat business. Ensure product displays, packaging, and service meet brand standards. Collaborate with marketing to enhance brand image and local market presence.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
