Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The Barista will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Front of House

Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere. Take and process customer orders accurately (in person, via POS system, or by phone). Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally. Provide menu recommendations and respond to customer inquiries. Handle customer feedback and complaints politely and effectively.

Barista Duties

Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. Maintain consistency in coffee quality, latte art, and presentation. Operate coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment safely. Monitor and restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the coffee station and equipment.

Server Duties

Deliver orders to tables with proper etiquette. Clear and reset tables promptly for the next guests. Assist with takeaway and delivery packaging when required. Check on guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.

Operations & Hygiene

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Assist in opening and closing duties, including setup, cash handling, and cleaning. Maintain overall cleanliness of the front-of-house and service areas. Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a barista or server is preferred (training will be provided). Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of coffee, brewing methods, and cafe operations is an advantage. Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.

Pay: From RM2,100.00 per month
