Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented

Barista cum Service Crew

to join our cafe team in

UTP, Seri Iskandar, Perak

. The ideal candidate will have

1 -3 years of barista experience

, strong attention to cleanliness, and a willingness to support front-of-house service when needed. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, reheating and serving pastries, and delivering excellent customer service in a clean and organized cafe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Barista Duties

Prepare coffee and espresso-based beverages according to company standards. Operate coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment confidently and safely. Maintain stock levels at the coffee station (beans, milk, syrups, etc.).

Workstation Cleanliness & Hygiene

Keep the

bar area/workstation clean and organized at all times

. Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists without fail. Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are met consistently.

Food & Pastry Handling

Reheat, plate, and serve pastries or baked items professionally. Monitor food presentation, portioning, and temperature control. Assist in restocking and displaying food items.

Customer Service

Greet customers warmly and assist with orders when required. Support service crew during peak hours, including clearing tables and handling the POS system. Address customer inquiries or complaints in a polite and efficient manner.

Requirements:

1 to 3 years experience

working as a barista in a cafe or similar environment. Willing to work on

rotating shifts

public holidays

. Strong sense of responsibility and

commitment to cleanliness

. Basic food handling and reheating experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to multitask.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and milk texturing. Basic knowledge of hygiene & food handling SOPs (advantage). Able to work under pressure during busy hours.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
