Overall Job Objectives:

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong product knowledge, a passion for coffee culture, and the ability to create a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take customer orders accurately and ensure their satisfaction throughout their visit. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages following company standards for taste, presentation, and consistency. Serve drinks directly to customers when required, ensuring prompt and courteous service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, counters, and dining/service space. Replenish ingredients, restock supplies, and support inventory management. Continuously expand product knowledge, including brewing methods and presentation techniques. Collaborate with the team to maintain a smooth and enjoyable customer experience.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

1-2 years of experience in coffee preparation, food & beverage service, or customer service preferred. Excellent communication and active listening skills. Polite, engaging, and customer-focused personality. Positive, friendly attitude with a passion for coffee and hospitality. Willing to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all beverages. Ensure that all equipment is maintained and cleaned properly according to health and safety guidelines. Meet or exceed sales targets through excellent customer service and suggesting additional items (e.g., pastries, snacks, and specialty drinks).
