Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Coffee Preparation:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, using high-quality beans and equipment. Ensure consistent taste and presentation with every cup.

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide friendly and knowledgeable service. Ensure that customers have a pleasant and memorable experience in the cafe.

Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about the brand's coffee offerings, including origins, roasts, and brewing techniques, to provide insightful recommendations to customers.

Quality Control:

Follow standard operating procedures for coffee preparation, cleanliness, and presentation. Maintain a high level of consistency and quality in every beverage served.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure coffee machines and other equipment are clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently. Report any issues to the management team.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to maintain a smooth workflow and a positive work environment. Assist in training new baristas when needed.

Cash Handling:

Accurately process customer payments and handle cash transactions following company protocols.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for both staff and customers.

Qualifications:



Previous barista or customer service experience preferred, but not required. Strong passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn about specialty coffee. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. A team player with a positive and proactive approach to work. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
