The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a timely and friendly manner while ensuring high standards of hospitality, cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
2. Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent customer service at all time.
3. Take drink and snack orders accurately and process payments.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
5. Ensure all beverages are prepared using proper portion control and presentation methods.
6. Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption.
7. Restock bar inventory such as spirits, mixers, ice, garnishes and glassware.
8. Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and follow company safety policies.
9. Work closely with other F&B team members to ensure smooth operation during service.
10. Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory counts.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar F&B role is an advantage.
2. Good knowledge of drink recipes, bar equipment and customer service.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
5. Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
6. Posses required certification/licenses for alcohol service (if applicable).
