Job Description

Job responsibilities:

1. Report to work station according to schedule (15 minutes early) with high standards of personal appearance and hygiene with clean dress and name tag. Maintain a high standard of hygiene and sanitation throughout all service areas.

2. To coordinate and perform bed assignments for ADT and A&E PAS counters and to ensure smooth admission process.

3. To effectively coordinate and communicate with nursing unit in the wards, Daycare, ICU, etc., and to make wards' visits, in order to determine status of pending discharges, transfers and bed availability and plan bed assignments accordingly.

4. To coordinate the discharges by liaising with the Billing team, doctors/consultant and nurses/nurse manager in relation to the insurance/guarantee letters so that the Admission can be done efficiently.

5. To ensure bed assignment is done according to patient's request/entitlement which is subject to the room availability.

6. To update the bed status daily in the morning via email to designated list of recipients.

7. To assist in guiding and support to ADT team on daily operational activities including efficient handover of scheduled admissions to A&E PAS counter, adhering to Department's Policies/SOPS/WIs, handling insurance matters and feedback/complaints/compliments.

8. To assist in preparing the duty roster, monitoring attendance, scheduling overtime and managing the leaves of ADT team to ensure manpower is sufficient at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
