Are you ready to take the next big step in your career? Four Seasons Resort Langkawi is looking for a Bellman Mandarin Language Speaker The Bellman assists operative departments in the day-to-day function, as well greets guests and escorts them to their rooms. Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.

Key Functions

  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  • Greets all guest passing through lobby and offers them assistance; Cart cleaning and maintenances.
  • Complies with Four Seasons\xe2\x80\x99 Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Performs shoeshine service; picking up shoes from guest room, cleaning and polishing them and returning them to the guest.
  • Performs errands for guests and the hotel that may require local travel off of the hotel property.
  • Provides a high level of cleanliness in the lobby and luggage storage room.
  • Assists guests at the Desk. Assists in \xe2\x80\x9ccrunches\xe2\x80\x9d in the Reception Desk, Concierge Desk, Front Drive and other departments when necessary.
  • Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in all areas.
Qualifications & Experience
  • School Graduate with SPM qualification
  • At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the same role, ideally in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in handling buggy driving and Bellman job
  • Strong command of the English language
  • A working knowledge of Resort systems and operations
  • Guest oriented and excellent communication skill.
