-Performs room changes in an efficient and helpful manner and in accordance with the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s standards. -Thanks every guest when they depart. -Takes messages. -Locates guests. -Properly records incoming/outgoing luggage and deliver with care and promptly within 15 minutes upon the guest\xe2\x80\x99s arrival. -Delivers newspapers as per hotel policy. -Delivers messages, faxes or other mail to the room. -Valet parks cars if the service is provided by the hotel. -Opens car doors and assists guests. -Works together with Security to control the flow of traffic at the lobby entrance and driveway area. -Checks daily arrival list. -Answer sand transfer incoming calls in accordance with hotel standards. -Keep the luggage storeroom tidy and clean. -Calls for taxis whenever guests request and assist by telling the taxi driver where to go whenever necessary. -Accepts baggage that guest may wish to keep in storage, issue claim ticket and record in log accordingly.
