The Business HR community is looking for an experienced HR Manager (HRM) to be a strategic business partner for our business groups. The HRM must have a proven track record as a proactive, solution oriented HR leader focused on driving value to the business by partnering across the Business and HR stakeholders. This value will be built on being agile and delivering solutions regularly that integrate the execution and change management of the HR Portfolio and linking that to business cases that help drive the strategy and stakeholders forward.
The HR Manager of Malaysia Design and Development (DnD) group is responsible for managing and leading the HR team that provides comprehensive strategic and operational HR support to support business units in the Malaysia DnD Group. The HR manager reports directly to the Malaysia Country HR Director as part of a cohesive team igniting and perpetuating Intel Malaysia\'s culture of engagement, development and uncompromising customer focus in a way that inspires, activates, and energizes so that Malaysia DnD relentlessly leads the way to deliver Intel Malaysia\'s growth.
Main Responsibilities: \xef\xbf\xbd Collaborate and consult with BU GMs and their staff members to align talent management solutions to business strategy needs \xef\xbf\xbd Responsible for managing and leading a BHR team in order to provide proactive and effective solutions to employees, managers and leaders \xef\xbf\xbd Align and collaborate with MYS HRDs/HRMs as part of MYS BHR Staff and MYS HR Staff. Lead site initiatives as part of HR leadership team. \xef\xbf\xbd Navigate paradox defined by complex stakeholder relationships; Implements systems that address demonstrated business needs \xef\xbf\xbd Set priorities for the DnD HR team aligned to direct business signals \xef\xbf\xbd Deliver results across boundaries while ensure an inclusive work environment \xef\xbf\xbd Possesses in-depth knowledge of the BU functional area, business strategies, and the company\'s goals \xef\xbf\xbd Creates a culture of agility and innovation where ideas for growth are encouraged across boundaries for the good of Intel \xef\xbf\xbd Supports the transformation of the Business HR organization into a strategic learning organization that aligns to BHR operating principles
The HRM position requires you to: \xef\xbf\xbd Use deep business acumen to understand business strategy, leadership, organization and employees to anticipate their needs \xef\xbf\xbd Engage with leaders in creating a clear, compelling, and aligned HR strategy \xef\xbf\xbd Recommend holistic HR solutions and solicit the right resources to define initiatives and usher in change \xef\xbf\xbd Be accountable for leading a collaborative team of HR professionals in the timely and cost-effective delivery of all talent and organization solutions to meet the needs of the business \xef\xbf\xbd Enable and drive both large and small-scale changes in organizations and monitor and assess the effectiveness of strategies implemented \xef\xbf\xbd Drive employee engagement and organizational health and integrate with partners responsible for Strategic Employee Relations \xef\xbf\xbd Contribute to and advise the HR senior management team \xef\xbf\xbd Coach managers and employees on performance management, career counselling, corrective action process and employee relations issues, including legal and regulatory compliance issues \xef\xbf\xbd Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives for the group, and help execute employee engagement initiatives
Qualifications
A successful candidate must have the following qualification \xef\xbf\xbd at least 10+ years of Human Resources experience or its equivalent, with successful track records. Working knowledge of Intel\'s products, design and development operations will be added advantage.
\xef\xbf\xbd Leadership agility: Demonstrated experience in leading a diverse organization of HR professionals in a dynamic work environment. Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and advise where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals
\xef\xbf\xbd Business acumen and consulting skills: Proven ability to possess and build a clear understanding of strategy and operations, assess the internal and external ecosystem and dynamics and its impact on business strategies. Ability to collaborate across management levels, strong interpersonal communication skills, including listening, influencing, ability to encourage evolution and willingness to challenge the status quo.
\xef\xbf\xbd Influence and Communication Skills: Ability to influence senior business and HR leaders in a large corporate environment. Demonstrated credibility and ability to influence and partner with functions across HR. Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills
\xef\xbf\xbd Design Thinking: Seek to understand customers, challenge assumptions, and redefine problems in an attempt to identify better alternative strategies that drive innovative solutions to solving problems
\xef\xbf\xbd Analytical skill: Ability to see the interconnectedness, trends, and draw accurate conclusions from data to determine appropriate interventions in addressing business challenges. Demonstrated capabilities in developing and leveraging HR metrics to guide HR effectiveness.
