Responsible for developing effective bid strategies aligned with the client's requirements and business objectives. Analyze the client's needs, evaluate the competition, and identify key selling points to develop a compelling bid strategy.
2. Bid Coordination
Leads and coordinate the end-to-end bid process. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, operations, finance, and legal, to gather the necessary information, data, and insights required for the bid submission.
Develop and maintain a bid library, including templates and past submissions.
3. Proposal Writing
Oversee the development and creation of bid proposals. ensure that the proposal clearly articulates the IFM services, solutions, and value proposition that align with the client's needs.
Able to write persuasively writing skills and have effective communication to develop a compelling proposal.
Working with internal subject matter experts (SME) and leadership team to support the development of customized content for pursuits as required.
4. Bid Management Process Improvement
Continually assess and improve the bid management process. Analyze bid outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement lessons learned from previous bids to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of future bid submissions.
Requirements:
Preferably a Degree qualification with relevant business development experience
Ideally having sold services and having worked ideally within the facilities management either soft or hard services, property management or any other outsourcing services is an advantage
A dynamic driven individual with a passion for sales, independent, technical mindset, ability to think outside the box and to collaborate with other departments
Good interpersonal and strong communication and writing skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Relevant business development experience with a range of large and complex clients
Strong analytical skills - including the ability to create the most compelling and competitive offers that work for both parties
A demonstrated understanding of the business acquisition and bid management life cycles
Adequate knowledge of Sales Force and Microsoft Office applications especially in Word, Excel and Power Point
Able to travel when necessary within Malaysia
