To support the growth strategies within the region (SEA) (customer visits, budget quotations, order intake)
Creates and organizes quotations, finds technical and commercial solutions to meet customer expectations and achieve business targets. Development of the technical concept. Clarification of the scope and content of the project as well as clarification of detailed questions, if necessary, with the corresponding contact partners in the specialist departments.
Create preliminary costing and price negotiations within the guidelines
Assist in negotiations and ensure signing of contracts are in line with sales guidelines and regulations
Assist in bid-coordination between customers/agents and Product Centers
Assist in bid management for local projects
Maintain important customer contacts (selected Key Accounts)
Conducting of inquiries according to the procurement guidelines. To prepare a comprehensive bid comparison as basis for procurement decision.
Assisting Sales in building up customer relationships and follow up of the bidding process until the conclusion of the contract. If necessary, carry out further contractual negotiations to clarify or change technical and commercial details, if required with the support of the specialist departments and the superior.
Maintain knowledge in product, market and customer applications by developing customer contacts during the Bid processes
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Detailed understanding of the business both technical and commercial levels
Seasoned sales experience with 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in the turbo machinery
Excellent skills set required in areas such as communication, contract negotiation, terms and conditions design, legal implications of terms and conditions and project management at the most senior level of customer even in a highly dynamic environment
Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a high degree of customer satisfaction and intimacy orientation
Strong networker, engaging, well aware of the local market
Sound interpersonal, presentation as well as intercultural skills and understanding
Ability to uphold the highest ethical standards, high integrity
