The Role Responsibilities Job Summary Data engineering lead, responsible for coding / configuring data routines to onboard data into the datalake. Key Responsibilities Configure, develop and deliver data ingestion scripts for loading data into T1 data layer. Facilitate testing and implement bug fixes and support the product and data systems. Identify opportunities for optimization and execute. Work with cross functional teams effectively. Business Good knowledge of Banking industry. Processes Strong in Agile process and methodology. Able to work in Squad and allocate the task level activity to team members. Analysis on the backlog and add into the upcoming sprint as per the Agile model. Our Ideal Candidate 10+ Years of hands on experience in data technologies Work experience and Expert Knowledge on Hadoop Eco Systems, Hive, Spark, Scala, Nifi, Groovy and Scoop. Good analytical and communication skills to understand requirements / data ingestion framework and to articulate solutions / feedbacks. Strong in Data Sourcing into Data Lake. Experience in working in a AGILE delivery model. Adaptive to the aggressive timelines in delivery. Must have knowledge on Complex SQL query. Problem solving skills and Lateral thinking. Knowledge on Data Warehousing. Self motivated & able to work independently.
