Role Description

The

Billing & Finance Executive

is responsible for managing billing operations and supporting financial functions related to logistics activities. This role ensures accurate and timely invoicing, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and coordination with logistics and operational teams. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance, excellent attention to detail, and a good understanding of logistics and supply chain billing processes.

BILLING RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generate and issue accurate invoices based on delivery orders, contracts, and logistics services rendered. Verify and reconcile billing data with transport documents, rate sheets, and customer agreements. Handle billing adjustments, credit notes, and resolve discrepancies with internal departments or customers. Maintain a detailed billing database and ensure timely follow-up on payments. Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure complete and accurate billing documentation.

FINANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports related to logistics revenue and expenses. Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and payable. Support monthly and year-end closing activities. Assist with internal audits and compliance reporting. Monitor budget usage and assist in forecasting logistics costs. Prepare reports for management on financial performance of logistics operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field Additional certification in Accounting & Finance will be a plus. Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements Strong Analytical Skills and knowledge of Finance Experience with compliance and reporting related to Sales and Services Tax (SST) Excellent Financial Reporting skills Attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to work independently and in a team in a On-site work setup
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
