Job Summary

The BIM Coordinator / Modeler will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating accurate architectural BIM models to support the successful delivery of architectural and multi-disciplinary projects. The candidate will contribute to model creation, documentation, coordination efforts, and implementation of BIM standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed and accurate 3D architectural models using BIM software (e.g., Revit). Prepare 2D drawings, construction documentation, and visual presentations extracted from BIM models. Ensure all models are in full compliance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), standards, and protocols. Maintain organized model files, naming conventions, and ensure consistent model structure across the project. Lead or assist in coordinating multi-disciplinary BIM models, ensuring design accuracy and clash-free integration. Conduct model audits, clash detection, and perform quality control using tools like Navisworks. Collaborate with the BIM Manager or Design Manager to implement and maintain project-specific BIM standards. Assist in the setup and maintenance of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for efficient collaboration and model/file management.
Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Architecture or a related field. Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 (or equivalent BIM platforms). Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction documentation, and the building design lifecycle. Familiarity with BIM standards, including LOD definitions, BEP structures, and model coordination practices. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams. Experience working on real-world architectural projects involving integrated BIM workflows is an added advantage. Candidates must state their expected salary in their resume/CV.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
