Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced BIM Designer to join our dynamic team at Kee Safety. As a BIM Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the structural engineering and design process, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry. Minimum of 2 years' experience in BIM software. Proficient in BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Naviswork, Solidworks, and Inventor. CIDB Certification

Skills:

Able to identify and resolve conflicts or issues in the design process and come up with creative solutions to complex problems.

Able to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines and be able to pay close attention to detail.

Able to adapt to changing project needs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Able to work closely with a team of professionals, including architects, engineers, and contractors, and be able to effectively communicate ideas and information.

Has strong problem-solving skills

Has excellent teamwork skills.

Must be proficient in both spoken and written English.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create 3D models using BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, SolidWorks, and Inventor.

Use BIM software to generate 2D drawings and documents, such as floor plans, sections, and details.

Identify potential conflicts or issues in the design process and work to resolve them.

Coordinate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that project plans are followed.

Analyse and interpret building codes and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.

Prepare Bill of Materials using BIM software.

Site Visit, coordination with consultants may require.
