Job Description

We are looking for suitable and qualified candidate for the following position:

BIOSTATISTICIAN
CLINICAL RESEARCH DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities

1. Study Design and Planning:

• Assist in development of research proposal with appropriate study designs
• Assist in defining research objectives and hypotheses
• Determine appropriate sample sizes and statistical methods

2. Statistical Consulting:

• Provide guidance and consultation to research teams on statistical methods and

study design
3. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Conduct statistical analyses of research data using appropriate software (e.g.,

SPSS, R, SAS, STATA).

• Interpret and communicate results to researchers
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis

4. Statistical Modeling:

• Develop and implement statistical models to address research questions
• Perform regression analyses, survival analyses, and other advanced statistical

techniques as needed

• Evaluate and validate models for accuracy and reliability

5. Data Quality Assurance:

• Ensure data integrity and quality through data cleaning and validation procedures
• Collaborate with data management teams to maintain data accuracy

6. Report and Publications:

• Prepare clear and concise statistical reports for research publications
• Collaborate with researchers in the development of manuscripts and

presentations

• Assist in preparation of presentation materials for research findings at local and

international conference
7. Compliance and Ethics:

• Ensure compliance with IJN\'s policy procedures, and Personal Data Protection

Act 2010

• Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant industry guidelines

Requirements

• Degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or other equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in statistical analysis and modeling, preferably in a healthcare or
