Job Summary:

The Blow/Injection Moulding Process Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining blow and injection moulding machines to ensure the production of high-quality products. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Setup and Operation:

Set up and operate blow and injection moulding machines according to standard operating procedures.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance checking on moulding machines and related equipment and minor repairs as a part of Total Productive Maintenance program.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve issues with moulding processes, equipment malfunctions, and material defects.

Quality Control:

Monitor product quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure products meet specifications and standards.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production data, and maintenance activities.

Safety:

Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

Collaboration:

Work closely with process engineers, quality control, and other team members to optimize production processes.

Training:

Assist in training new operators and technicians on proper machine operation and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in blow and/or injection moulding operations.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating and maintaining moulding machines, understanding of moulding processes, and familiarity with troubleshooting techniques.

Problem-Solving:

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Communication:

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
