Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment, including HV/LV switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, and PDU systems.
Ensure full compliance with Electricity Supply Act 1990, Electricity Regulations 1994, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements.
Supervise and lead a team of technicians and electricians in carrying out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Conduct regular inspections and testing to proactively detect electrical faults, inefficiencies, or safety risks.
Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure system availability at all times.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues swiftly and permanently, supporting uninterrupted data center operations.
Coordinate with other departments, vendors, or external contractors for upgrades, shutdowns, or specialized work.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection logs, and asset inventories in line with audit and compliance requirements.
Provide training and guidance to technical staff on electrical safety procedures, risk awareness, and best practices.
Keep up to date with the latest industry standards, regulatory changes, and technological advancements relevant to electrical infrastructure in data centers.
Be available for on-call duties and emergency response support, as required.

Job Requirements
Possess a valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) BO Chargeman certificate (33kV or lower).
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical operations, preferably within data centers, critical facilities, or large-scale industrial buildings.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and power monitoring tools.
Familiar with Malaysian electrical codes and standards, including MS IEC standards, and TNB/Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
Good understanding of data center infrastructure, redundancy levels (N+1, 2N), and uptime requirements is an advantage.
Strong leadership skills with experience supervising technicians or contractors.
Ability to work under pressure, respond to emergencies, and manage high-risk situations calmly and efficiently.
Good communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia and English) and strong documentation/reporting capability.
Willingness to work on shifts, weekends, and be on standby for emergencies when needed.
