Job position: Boilerman

Salary Up To RM10000

Location: Jasin Melaka

s:

• Responsible for operation of plant utilities in particular the Steam Generation System and steam distribution and return piping system and accessories.
• Responsibilities include the maintenance, repair and replacement of parts for the boiler and related controls.
• Assist in troubleshooting of process and equipment failures and evaluating equipment as well as plant utilities operation performance.
• Assist in the Root Cause Investigations in the event of plant interruptions.
• Assist in implementation of cost saving projects, or plant operation improvement.
• Participates in developing operation strategies and gives input to plant budgets.
• Maintains technical documentation and records up to date.
• Ensure that HSE policies and procedures are implemented and applied in all plant related activities.
• The responsibilities toward HSE shall include;

(a) Complying with HSE and in the event of doubt of certain issues to consult Operation Engineer and Plant Manager for advice or instruction.

(b) Wearing allocated PPE provided by employer to suit working condition requirement.

(c) Seek advice from HSE personnel for any of the PPE provided found does not provide required protection and not comfort.

(d) Participate in any program for promotion of HSE.

(e) Prevent occurrence of Unsafe Act and Unsafe Condition at work place.

• Perform and record all test analysis at the required interval as per contractual requirement.
• Ensure the cleanliness of process equipment and plant area.
• Ensure that all activities status in the shift is handed over to colleague during shift change over.
• Perform other duties as assigned as and when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum SPM or equivalent
• Shall possess First Grade or 2nd Grade Boilerman certificate as required by Factories and Machineries (Persons In Charge) Regulations 1970 (Regulation 5, Clause 6)
• Minimum 1-2 years experiences as Boilerman
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean & safe environment
• Applicants must be willing to work in LIPAT KAJANG, JASIN.
• Willing to work on rotation shift.
