Job Description

Job Responsibility Operate and monitor boilers to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely, including regulating fuel and water levels, and adjusting controls as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements (JKKP) related to boiler operation, including proper handling of hazardous materials and emergency response procedures. Conduct regular inspections of boilers, including checking for leaks, corrosion, and worn components. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts. Monitor and treat boiler feed water to maintain proper water quality levels and prevent scaling or corrosion within the boiler system. Conduct water testing to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain detailed records of boiler operation, maintenance activities, water treatment, and any incidents or deviations from standard procedures. Prepare reports as required. Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as boiler malfunctions, leaks, or fires. Implement appropriate safety measures and coordinate with relevant personnel to address the situation. Implement strategies to improve boiler efficiency, including adjusting combustion settings, optimizing fuel usage, and minimizing energy wastage. Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation issues related to the boiler system, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation. Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and critical components, ensuring that necessary supplies are readily available for maintenance and repairs. Stay updated on industry best practices, safety regulations, and emerging technologies related to boiler operation. Provide training and mentor ship to junior personnel as when needed. Assist Maintenance Executive for the Plant equipment on repair and trouble shooting. Job Requirements Education : Possess at least SPM and above Certificate : A certificate of competency Boilerman Grade 2 issued by DOSH (JKKP) Minimum 2 - 3 years of working experience in similar position preferably in manufacturing industry Able to work under minimum supervision speak and good teamwork Job Benifits Salary Range : RM2,500 - RM3,500 EPF, SOCSO, EIS 5 working days / week Medical Insurance Exciting employee activities Free Company Lubricant Engine Oil every quarter
