Job Description

Key Responsibilities



1. Branch Operations & Leadership



Manage daily operations of

Penang and Ipoh branches

, ensuring smooth coordination across sales, warehouse, logistics, and administration. Maintain discipline, operational efficiency, and adherence to company policies. Monitor branch KPIs and address operational issues promptly. Make timely and informed decisions to resolve customer, staff, or operational challenges.

2. Sales & Business Development



Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives to achieve revenue and profit targets. Lead the sales team with a strong focus on

gross margin, profitability, and timely collections

. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including major distributors, contractors, and real estate developers. Drive market expansion and identify new business opportunities, including product diversification. Oversee pricing strategy and contract management to ensure competitiveness and profitability. Lead or supervise major project tenders and contract reviews.

3. Cost, Inventory & Supply Chain Management



Monitor inventory levels, stock turnover, and logistics efficiency to reduce costs.

Coordinate with headquarters for supply planning, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment. Control operational and production costs (where applicable) including materials, labor, and overhead. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability through cost optimization.

4. Financial & Risk Management



Own branch P&L, analyzing revenues, gross margin, costs, and expenses.

Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring expenses remain within approved limits. Oversee accounts receivable, control credit risks, and ensure healthy cash flow. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate policies; prepare for audits.

5. Team Building & People Management



Build, lead, and motivate cross-functional teams (sales, operations, technical, admin). Set clear KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and development. Identify and develop key talent, establishing succession plans and training programs. Foster a culture of safety, customer focus, and quality excellence.

6. Safety, Health & Environmental Management



Act as the primary safety officer for the branches, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ensure environmental standards are met and risks mitigated. Promote employee occupational health and provide necessary protections and training.

7. Reporting & Communication



Provide regular reports on branch performance, sales results, gross margin, costs, and market insights. Deliver actionable market intelligence on competitors, customer needs, and regional trends. Maintain effective communication with headquarters, clients, and regulatory authorities.

Monday to Friday: 8.00am to 5.00pm


Saturday (Alternate): 8.00am to 12.00pm


Gross Pay: RM8,000 to RM12,000



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
