The Role of the Account Director The Account Director that report and work closely with Group Account Director is responsible for contributing to the achievement of business plan objectives by the effective management of the provision of quality communication strategies to clients. Job Purpose . Maintain regular contact with clients . Lead effective meetings . Thorough knowledge of client\'s business, competitors and market . Opportunities for incremental revenue increases identified and developed . Development of all major and new campaign briefs . Recommend appropriate research as required . Brief Creative on campaigns . Prepare strategies for selling creative work to clients ensuring creative is on strategy and within budget . Media consulted on strategies as required . Work conforms with corporate brand identity guidelines and media specifications . Creative work confirms with advertising codes, legal and ethical standards . Preparation and monitoring of annual financial plan . Working knowledge of client contracts . Sign-off of relevant financial related documentation (ISRs, POs, production estimates etc) . Provide clients with accurate monthly budget/actual reconciliation/s for media/ production . Preparation of accurate monthly client billing forecasts . Record and maintain detailed headhours on all tasks . Work trafficked in an effective manner . Team members adhere to established processes and procedures . All appropriate sign-offs obtained . Team members have a clear understanding of job requirements .
